Setup and roles
What does UpShiftX do?
We explain the setup using recorded CopyX and TAG Markets screens. We do not run Sonic, place trades for you or hold your deposit. We may earn a commission through our CopyX links.
What are Sonic, CopyX and TAG Markets?
Sonic is the strategy that makes trading decisions. CopyX copies its trades to a connected account. TAG Markets provides the trading account and account options. UpShiftX publishes an independent guide.
Do I have to place trades myself?
When a strategy connection is active, CopyX can copy Sonic’s trades to your account. Sonic makes the strategy decisions; your account is exposed to gains and losses.
How do I get started?
Use the six-step setup guide alongside the provider screens. It covers registration, account checks, funding, connection, status and withdrawals.
What do I need before I register?
Have access to your email, your own identity documents and a payment method accepted by the provider. Requirements can change; follow the instructions shown in your account.
How long does verification or setup take?
It depends on provider review, the documents submitted and payment processing. We cannot promise a completion time. Check your account status or contact provider support.
Does a connection mean a trade will open immediately?
No. A connection can be active while the strategy has no new trade to copy. Check the connection status and account history in CopyX.
Risk, account types and costs
Can I lose money?
Yes. Trading can lose some or all of the money in your account; amplified-account conditions can add further risks. Seven of 55 trades in our dated follower account were negative. That sample does not limit future losses.
Are past results a promise of future results?
No. Historical results describe a particular account and period. They do not predict your result, which can differ because of timing, allocation, execution, fees and account settings.
What is the difference between 12× and 24×?
The public provider information we have documented describes 12×. Our 24× observation relates to a separately observed community account setup, not a public provider offer. Do not assume eligibility or availability; check your own account terms.
What fees may apply?
Trading commission, spreads, payment fees and strategy performance deductions may apply. The recorded sample showed weekly deductions consistent with 30%, but the current contractual basis and high-water-mark terms are not established in our evidence. Check the current provider terms before funding.
What is the minimum deposit or strategy allocation?
Deposit minimums and strategy-allocation minimums are different. A recorded Sonic screen listed a $10 allocation minimum; it is an observation, not a current universal offer. Check the values displayed in your account.
Does leverage mean I own or receive that amount?
No. Leverage changes trading exposure; it is not cash in your wallet and does not increase the amount you own. Amplified account credits can have separate loss and withdrawal conditions.
Can I withdraw profits and my original deposit?
They can have different eligibility rules and timing. Provider rules documented on 25 October 2026 describe a 30-day principal period from the first trade, reset on upgrade, and account closure when principal is withdrawn. Recheck the current terms and your account timer.
Where is my money held?
Your trading account is with the provider, not UpShiftX. We do not hold deposits. Review the account agreement and provider information before sending money.
Can I stop copying?
Use the controls and eligibility information shown in your CopyX account. Stopping a strategy, closing positions and withdrawing funds may be separate actions with separate conditions.
Evidence and help
How can I check Sonic’s results myself?
Open the public Myfxbook record and review drawdown as well as gain. Our verification page states what was observed and when.
Is the follower sample the same as Myfxbook?
No. Myfxbook is the strategy’s master account. The 55-trade record is a separate follower account. Neither should be presented as the other.
Are the results independently audited?
No. We describe the source and reconciliation method, but the follower ledger is owner-supplied and is not an independent audit or bank statement.
Does the calculator show what I will earn?
No. It is a hypothetical scenario based on stated historical averages and assumptions. It is not a forecast, a historical sequence replay or a personal recommendation.
Who should I contact for account-specific help?
Contact TAG Markets support for access, verification, funding and withdrawal questions. Do not send identity documents or payment details to UpShiftX.
